Apricot Kernel Oil (Prunus armeniaca)

One of the lightest and most easily absorbed oils, apricot kernel oil is an excellent mild, moisturizing oil. It is especially well suited for sensitive, irritated, or inflamed skin.

Avocado Oil (Persea americana)

Naturally occurring unsaturated and essential fatty acids, as well as vitamins A and E, make this a highly moisturizing oil. Avocado oil is exceptionally nourishing for intensely dry skin.

Coconut Oil (Cocos nucifera)

Coconut oil is very mild, making it suitable for sensitive or inflamed  skin. It is high in saturated fatty acids (medium chain triglycerides),  and is an excellent moisturizer. It helps serve as a protective layer for the skin, decreasing moisture loss.

 Mango Butter (Mangifera indica)

Made from the seed kernel of the tropical fruit, mango butter is extremely nourishing. It naturally softens and smooths the skin, and  has regenerative qualities as well. 

Plantain Oil

Plantain Oil (Plantago major)

Plantain leaves have anti-inflammatory properties that help heal inflamed skin and minor wounds. As plantain oil  also soothes itching, it is a good choice for skin irritation and lesions such as insect bites. 

Sea Buckthorn Oil

Sea Buckthorn Oil (Hippophae rhamnoides)

Berries and/or seeds are used to make this oil, which has a unique composition of essential fatty acids, vitamins, and other nutrients. Its restorative and regenerative properties help damaged and injured skin heal.

Shea Butter

Shea Butter (Vitellaria paradoxa)

Also known as Butyrospermum parkii is the vegetable fat from the nut of the Karite tree. It is rich in vitamins A, E, and F, and is an intensive moisturizer. Shea not only hydrates and protects skin, it helps helps heal and rejuvenate damaged skin. Not recommended for those with a nut allergy.

Olive Oil

Extra Virgin Olive Oil (Olea europaea)

A widely used, versatile oil. It is a good choice for skin healing infusions, as it is very stable. It is also rich in oleic, omega 3, and omega 6 fatty acids, which help maintain healthy skin function.

Grape Seed Oil

Grapeseed Oil (Vitis vinifera)

This is a very light, quickly absorbing oil. It is especially well suited for sensitive skin, as it is naturally non-allergenic. 

Cocoa Butter

Cocoa Butter (Theobroma cacao)

Cocoa butter melts quickly and moisturizes deeply. It is soothing, hydrating, and naturally rich in vitamin E and antioxidants.
